Ian Johnson has been studying Photography since his days at the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut. He graduated with honors in 1997 from Skidmore College where he majored in Studio Art and Art History with an emphasis on Photography and Printmaking.
Since September of 2004, Ian has been a full time employee of Jamie Collins Photography. He is Jamie's First Photographer, the head retoucher and slideshow developer. His style is similar to Jamie's in that it mixes the essential ingredients when shooting a wedding. The marriage of photojournalism, formal portraiture, fashion and fine art have come to be both he and Jamie's signature approach. He displays an artistic touch, a warm easy going personality, and a keen sense of professionalism that is sure to please all that he works for. |
